New Caledonia and is expected to impact the island in the next few days
Current projections estimate that the cyclone will be classified as a category two when it hits New Caledonia and that they will experience gale force winds on 1st or 2nd January. The Komatsu team in New Caledonia are monitoring the situation but the current status is that the Komatsu office will close at the end of the business day today and will re-open once the situation has cleared. At this stage, that's expected to be Thursday or Friday. Please note that this will impact end of month processing by New Cal staff.
