KOMATSU EXTENDED CARE PROGRAM OFFERS ONGOING SERVICE AND SUPPORT PACKAGE

Komatsu's scheduled servicing is well regarded by its customers as a vital ingredient for succeeding in their business.

Extended-Care-b-(1).jpgKomatsu has launched a new Extended Care program that enables Komatsu customers to enjoy the same level of service and support offered under its existing Komplimentary Maintenance program, for a discounted rate.

Komplimentary Maintenance is currently offered as a standard inclusion on the entire range of new Komatsu construction and selected utility models.

It offers preventive maintenance servicing for the first three years or 2000 hours, whichever occurs first, protecting a business's investment in essential equipment, ensuring customers can rely on their Komatsu machinery to meet expectations and perform consistently.

As part of its commitment to delivering ownership experiences that are second to none, Komatsu has now launched Extended Care for customers approaching the end of their Komplimentary Maintenance period.

Extended Care offers Komatsu customers the opportunity to extend their factory scheduled servicing for an additional one year or 2000 hours (whichever comes first), or for an additional two years or 4000 hours (whichever comes first).

Komatsu Australia National Business Manager Construction & Utility Contracts, Aaron Kumar, said Extended Care was designed to offer Komatsu customers continuous benefits, while catering to customer needs for ongoing quality maintenance.

"Companies that own their own construction and utility equipment depend on quality maintenance," he said.

"Equipment like excavators, wheel loaders and graders get worked hard, often in difficult conditions, making the maintenance of machinery a non-negotiable issue.

"We want to encourage our customers to stay with Komatsu, and we have seen an incredibly positive reaction to our Komplimentary Maintenance program.

"In developing it, we set out to develop a product that would continue delivering a premium, stress-free ownership experience to our customers at a competitive rate.

"Now Komatsu Extended Care also aligns with our Premium Warranty and KOMTRAX coverage periods, which means less worries and constant remote monitoring of machine use, location and vital stats," Kumar said.

Throughout the duration of their Extended Care agreement, customers will also receive a 10% discount on all Komatsu genuine parts and labour.

Equipment is correctly serviced, on schedule by Komatsu trained technicians, using Genuine Komatsu parts and lubricants while maintaining a full OEM service history.

"It comes down to convenience and peace of mind. We want our customers to continue to rest easy, knowing they are in the right hands," Kumar said.

Komatsu's scheduled servicing is well regarded by its customers as a vital ingredient for succeeding in their business.

One such customer is Adam Riley, owner of KB Contractors, a plant hire, civil contracting and construction firm operating a number of Komatsu machines, all maintained under Komplimentary Maintenance.

"KB's growth really stemmed from buying our first new Komatsu machine and knowing that we were going to have a good run with it; that we weren't going to be looking at the costly repair bills we had with previous brands," Riley said.

"You know where you stand from the start in terms of your total ownership costs, and you know that everything is getting done as it should be," he said.

"It has really helped us grow our business with confidence."

Komatsu's Extended Care offerings are available to current Komplimentary Maintenance customers immediately.
