KTA is proud to be a preferred supplier to Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) and their ongoing financial and professional contribution to the Queensland building and construction industry.

If you are considering upskilling in the building and construction industries and/or are wanting to update or expand your skills and knowledge in specific areas, you may be eligible for CSQ funding. The CSQ Short Courses Program 2020-21, runs from 1st October 2020 to 30th September 2021.
Komatsu Training Academy is a proud recipient of Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) funding for:
A) Short Courses – General Construction and Apprentice Advance Plus
B) Short Courses – Civil Construction and Apprentice Advance Plus
Where CSQ funding does not cover the full cost of the program, you will be required to contribute towards the ‘remaining’ course fees.
Please note places are limited.
What’s on offer?
The Short Courses program provides funding to assist with upskilling and cross-skilling individuals in the building and construction industries. Short courses are individual competencies and skills sets.
The Apprentice Advance Plus program offers additional training to eligible apprentices to gain new skills and knowledge to progress their career.
The program covers the training costs for eligible apprentices and trainees to:
• undertake key training to complement the skills they are developing, and
- • access higher level training and short courses for 12 months after they have completed their apprenticeship.
