Heavy-duty aftertreatment system

This new system combines a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR). The
SCR NOx reduction system injects the correct amount of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) at the proper rate, thereby decomposing NOx into non-toxic water vapour (H2O) and nitrogen gas (N2).




Control Box

The monitor of the Komatsu intelligent Machine Control (control box) uses a large 30.7 cm screen for visibility and ease of use. The simple screen layout displays the necessary information in an easily understood fashion. Touch screen icon interface instead of multi-step menu simplifies operation.

Realistic 3D display

The machine and design surfaces are shown in realistic 3D. The angle and magnification of the views can be changed, which allows the operator to select the optimum view depending on the work conditions.
