Mackay experiences the new 35 Tonne Hybrid Excavator - Komatsu's HB335LC-1
Since the global launch of the first Komatsu 35 tonne hybrid excavator in Sydney last year in October, a series of dig days have been taking place around Australia.
Last week on Friday 21st March, the Nth Queensland Komatsu team invited their customers to operate the new HB335LC-1 hybrid excavator, as well as the new 20 tonne HB215LC-1MO hybrid, PC200-8 and PC350LC-8 excavators.
It was also the official handover of the first 35 tonne hybrid to a Nth Queensland customer - Jason Penny of Allstate Civil.
Local media attended the dig day and publicised the event.
