Komatsu Australia has announced the launch of Premium Used Equipment, offering customers access to high-quality used equipment, backed with a 12 months / 2000 hour powertrain warranty.

Komatsu Australia's General Manager Used & Rental Equipment, Ian MacCowan stated "Premium Used Equipment will be available to customers throughout Australia and New Zealand, and is designed to ensure purchasers have complete peace of mind when buying selected Premium used equipment through Komatsu Australia".

"Komatsu's selected Premium Used Equipment goes through a rigorous process, so that Komatsu Australia can guarantee the quality and performance of the selected items we sell."

Features of Premium Used Equipment include:

12 months / 2000 hour powertrain warranty on each Premium Used machine

Less than 3000 hours

Preventive maintenance (PM) clinics, with adjustments and tune-ups as required

Industry leading Komatsu Used Equipment Assessment whereby each machine is qualified against key criteria

Komatsu Oil Wear Analysis (KOWA)

Nationally recognised Risk Assessment

Each machine is fully checked to ensure all components are up to specification, with assurance provided by Komatsu Australia and signed by your local Service Manager

Fixed price service agreement at an agreed rate for the first twelve months following the purchase

"Only Komatsu-branded equipment will be sold under the Premium Used banner," said Ian.

Komatsu Premium Used Equipment will be launched throughout Australia and New Zealand in May.
