Hella aftermarket beacons offer greater safety, durability, longevity

Komatsu Australia has released a new range of Hella LED beacons offering improved safety, durability and longevity as an aftermarket option for new or existing Komatsu construction and utility equipment.

HellaBeaconProject_promoimage-(1).jpg UltraRay 2.0 is the latest LED beacon to be released by Hella and, according to Trent Launer, Hella's Segment Manager, SOE Off Highway, sets a new benchmark in the beacon market.

"With no moving parts, the UltraRay 2 range is available in both flashing and rotating options, with either bolt-on mounting for permanent fitting or high-power magnet for temporary use.

"The UltraRay 2.0 meets and exceeds the highest standards of visibility under ECE and SAE regulations (ERC R65 and SAE J845 Class 1), as well as meeting and exceeding the highest EMC standards (CISPR 25 Class 5) ensuring interference free operation," said Launer.

Melissa Wickham, Komatsu Australia's National Business Manager Consumables, said the UltraRay 2.0 range provided an upgrade option for Komatsu factory-fitted beacons, for applications where customers require brighter, more visible beacons, where there is a higher risk of beacon damage, or as a replacement for damaged or failed beacon.

"Using the same mounting profile as Komatsu factory-fitted beacons, the Hella UltraRay 2 range is suitable for machines across Komatsu's utility and construction equipment range.

"The double lighting system and large light exit area means they are significantly brighter than standard beacons, producing a particularly strong warning effect," she said.

"This makes them far more visible on worksites, particularly in bright daylight conditions where conventional beacons may not stand out so prominently."

Other features include a heavy duty base and impact resistant lens to ensure long term reliability.

Komatsu Australia is an authorised distributor of Hella mining and construction beacons and lighting systems for Australia, New Zealand and New Caledonia, offering a wide range of products specifically designed for Komatsu machines.

"Currently Komatsu is offering a large range of Hella products, including beacons and other lighting products at highly competitive pricing," said Wickham.

Hella's UltraRay 2.0 beacon comes with a five-year warranty, and is available with conventional amber lenses, as well as in blue, red and green.
