Our trainers can conduct training courses either in our regional offices throughout Australia and New Zealand, or on-site at your own premises or projects.
All Komatsu Australia’s technical trainers are qualified to the requirements of the nationally recognised Certificate IV workplace trainer level, in addition to their trade qualifications and hands-on product experience, backed by factory training.
Komatsu Australia technical training courses are arranged for each machine type in our product range and are arranged in modules that develop the knowledge as each course is taken.

Restricted Electrical Licence Training Course: Komatsu Australia offers this nationally accredited course to participants holding a relevant trade qualification (such as mechanical or hydraulic).
Successful completion enables the participant to meet the application requirements for a Restricted Electrical Licence (required in Queensland and Western Australia to perform limited electrical work, ancillary to performing mechanical tasks such as disconnecting cabling before removing a wheel motor on electric-drive dump trucks).
This frees up electrical trades people for higher-level electrical work and may assist with meeting Duty-of-Care requirements in ensuring mechanical trades employees are properly skilled for the work they perform.
