KOMTRAX comes standard on most new construction models with FREE service (no monthly communication fees!) for the first twelve months. KOMTRAX has two important additional cost advantages: the possibility of a higher resale value on your machines and increased security, which may lead to reduced insurance costs. Your machines may have a higher value during resale or trade-in because KOMTRAX records maintenance item replacement history, actual working hours, and the operational load levels of your machine. And security features like geo-fencing and engine lock decrease the chances of loss from theft, which may also reduce insurance costs. Engine lock capabilities include the ability to prevent the machine from being started at anytime, set recurring daily lock periods, and set a “calendar lock,” which allows you to prevent startup between specific times and dates of the year (i.e., during the a holiday period).
