Komatsu Australia offers state of the art Paint Shop facilities to our customers
Komatsu genuine parts and service is the best way to maintain the reliability of any Komatsu machine. But what about the exterior? You may not know, but Komatsu also offers machine painting facilities, to help keep your machine looking as good as new. Our Paint Shop services are not restricted to Komatsu-branded machines, with our facilities equipped to cater for all makes and models of earthmoving equipment.
We offer Paint Shop facilities five key locations around Australia, with an additional two currently under construction:
1. Melbourne (Campbellfield)
2. Adelaide (Dry Creek)
3. Sydney (Fairfield)
4. Perth (Welshpool) - x2 facilities
5. Brisbane (Wacol)
6. Mackay - Opening late 2012
Fairfield – Sydney, New South Wales
Our Fairfield facility is purpose-designed for earthmoving equipment and can accommodate machines equivalent in size to a PC1250 excavator, GD655 grader or a WA900 loader. Our “Spray N Bake” booth can be used to apply enamel, oven-baked enamel or 2 pack paint systems, in a fully controlled environment. This facility provides significantly improved finish and superior corrosion prevention.
Our paint process allows reduced paint drying time and improves the quality of finish due to the control options available, minimising equipment down-time. We also offer steam cleaning, machine detailing, paint touch-ups, minor panel repairs and a heavy equipment wash bay, in addition to our full spray facility.
The flexibility of this booth mean we can cater for all construction machines, no matter the size, shape or colour.
Perth – Western Australia
Komatsu recently opened a second paint booth, doubling the paintshop capacity. Like our Fairfield facility, the Perth Paint Shop can also cater to a wide range of machine models and sizes, including both Constructions and Mining machines.
Wacol – Brisbane, Queensland

This facility will also include the largest paint booth in the Southern Hemisphere, boasting state of the art technologies. This Paint Shop facility can also cater for both small and large earthmoving equipment and even has the capability to paint to two 930E dump trucks at once.
