MEET THE TEAM

Warwick Matthews
Credit & Operations Manager 
Since joining AGC in 1980 Warwick has worked for Advance Bank, Count Financial, BankWest and ING Bank. Most of Warwick’s career has been in sales within the Equipment Finance area.
Joining KACF in October 2007 as the Business Development Manager-NSW, Warwick has moved in February 2012 to the role of Credit & Operations Manager located at North Ryde.
Over his 30 plus years in the finance industry Warwick assisted all types of businesses in achieving their goals.
 
Peter Johnston
Business Development Manager Vic & Tas
Peter commenced his career with the ANZ Bank in 1979 and in 1982 he moved into Plant and Equipment Finance with AGC and has remained in the Plant and Equipment Finance field since then and has held a number of Senior Plant and Equipment Finance positions including a period as Southern Regional Manager of Sanwa Australia Finance Limited.
Peter joined Komatsu Corporate Finance in March 2004 as the Business Development Manager for Victoria and Tasmania and at times has also performed that role simultaneously in South Australia and has a broad wealth of Plant and Equipment Finance knowledge in many areas and not just restricted to Business Development.
 
James Dwyer
General Manager, Business Development
James commenced his career with Commonwealth Bank in 1991. In July 1993 he joined Commonwealth Bank’s Structured Asset Finance as manager and has held a number of asset and equipment finance related positions since, including being appointed Managing Director, Head of Structured Asset Finance at NAB in October 2005.
James joined Komatsu Corporate Finance in January 2009 as General Manager, Mining Finance. In February 2012 his role was expanded and was appointed General Manager, Business Development.
 
Chris Favotto
Business Development Manager NSW
Chris commenced his career in the finance industry as a Finance and Insurance consultant with GMAC in 1987, working with the Holden dealer network. In 1996 he moved into a structured finance role with Rentworks and since then has held sales and management roles in equipment finance with various financial institutions including NewCourt Financial, Rental Management, De Lage Landen and most recently spent six years with CNH Capital (Case IH / New Holland). Chris commenced employment with Komatsu Finance in May 2013 as the BDM for NSW and the ACT.
 
Mike Gray
Business Development Manager NZ
Mike started in the Finance industry in 1995 as an Assistant Manager with GE Finance. In 1999 Mike was appointed to a Branch Manager position within GE Finance. Since this time Mike has held a number of positions within the industry including; Operations Manager, Lending Manager and Lending and Compliance Manager.
Mike joined Komatsu Finance in October 2006 as Business Development Manager- New Zealand.
 
Shane Kennedy 
Business Development Manager QLD
Shane commenced his career in the finance industry as a Credit Analyst with Esanda Finance in 1990, specialising in commercial finance and long distance road transport. In 1993 Shane was appointed to the position of Business Development Manager with Esanda and has since held BDM roles in equipment finance with various financial institutions including Rabobank (New Holland Credit & Agco Finance), AGC & CBFC at various locations throughout South East Queensland.  
Shane commenced employment with Komatsu Finance in November 2003 as the BDM for Queensland and Northern Rivers.  
 
John Meakins
Senior Business Development Manager WA/NT
John commenced his finance career with the NAB Group and has held a number of equipment finance related positions including State Manager and Head of Operations.
John has also worked in commercial banking as a Business Banker and Business Development Manager and has over 20 years experience in working with all categories of business.
John joined Komatsu Corporate Finance in April 2010.
